World Environment Day 2023 Celebrated Annually which encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment @ ICAT, Bangalore

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5th June 2023, which encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. On this occasion the NSS volunteers of ICAT Design & Media college took up an initiative to grow plants around their surroundings. Students took an active participation in planting different varieties of plants especially flowering plants in and around the college campus. The programme was aimed to build an awareness towards the importance of planting, nurturing and protecting the environment. It was a great experience for the NSS volunteers where they did all sorts of digging pits based on the varied height and width of the saplings and planting them wherein they gained a first hand experience and knowledge in it. Overall the event was successful in promoting and helping them adopt an environment conscious way of living.
