Workshop on Matte Painting 2018 @ ICAT, Chennai

On Wednesday 3rd October, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at ICAT Chennai VFX department organized a matte painting workshop, as part of relative academic exercise to discover artistic cinematographic technique, with Mr. Vimaleshwaran, Lead Matte Painter at Ajax Media. He also shared the importance of Matte painting techniques for film production by showcasing a few of his work portfolio. The students had a brief understanding by learning all the basic techniques used by the major film production chains. From rough key sketch, to the usage of different brushes, to work on the light shading through Adobe Photoshop, creating professional digital art illustration.
