Workshop on Cinematography & Direction 2016 @ ICAT, Hyderabad
ICAT Design & Media College, Hyderabad organized a workshop on “Cinematography” for the II and III year students of UG Animation, Visual Effects and Media Technology. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Shivbilas Saxena from National Institute of Design (NID) for three days — from March 01, 2016 to March 03, 2016.
The workshop was focused to make students understand the nuances involved in the process of film-making, including basic idea generation, development of concepts, script writing, story-boarding, using various lighting equipments for lighting indoor & outdoor scenes and audio & video editing.
The entire workshop was planned in such a way that each & everyone get the theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience of making films. The students got an understanding of all the aspects of film-making and use of appropriate equipments to set the mood for their story. After completion of this workshop, students produced a final video in which they utilized all the methods that they learned in the workshop.
