Workshop on Carpet Embroidery by Mr. Bala Kishan 2022 @ ICAT, Chennai

The department of Fashion designing organized an one day workshop on Carpet Embroidery by Mr. Bala Kishan on 15th September. He had 4 decades of experience in Velvet embroidery and Carpet Embroidery. "Carpet embroidery is not formed on loom-like woven carpet. The pattern is established by looped stitches in the cloth or carpets. At the end of the workshop students submitted their work on carpet embroidery.
