Workshop on Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality 2017 @ ICAT

Mr. Piyush Nitnaware, a Game Programmer of Godspeed Games, conducted a two-day workshop on Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), for the students of Game Programming, Game Design and Development, and Game Technology.

On the first day of the workshop, the following topics were discussed: Types of VR, Sickness caused by VR, VR in games, Google VR setup and Demo of project. Students were explained about the concepts regarding VR and then they worked on demo projects under the guidance of the Guest Lecturer. They produced an output using Google VR.

AR game making was discussed on the second day of the workshop. Students were explained about various applications of AR, and Mr. Piyush gave a demo of a project and made the students work on the same.

At the end of the workshop, students got a real kick start for their future projects based on VR and AR.
