Webinar on Sourcing in Apparel Industry 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore

The Animation Department of ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore had organized a seminar on 17th November 2021. The Guest speaker was Mr. Aravind Bhat, Asset Supervisor at MPC Studios. He discussed about the process in the VFX industry. It was a delight to listen to his inspiring speech in which he shared his experiences of his career journey. He was curious to guide students based upon his wonderful experiences by working on a myriad of projects and companies. To mention a few, he quoted “Every artist was first an amateur, Creativity takes courage and we should learn in every aspect of life”. Production pipelines were made simpler and explained by him and stressed the importance of its role in production. No event and statements end without a question.

Towards the end, we had the Q/A session with the students where they came up with their queries. He also gave credits to their questions which he found to be appropriate and excellent. It was an interactive session where the knowledge transfer along with the guidance of many carrier options in this field took place. The Event concluded by giving the token of appreciation to Mr. Aravind Bhat by Vice Principal Mrs. Hemalatha Doddamani.
