Webinar on Modular Kitchen Design 2020 @ ICAT, Bangalore

Department of Interior Design, ICAT Design and Media College has organized a webinar on 7th Aug 2020.The topic of the webinar is Modular kitchen Design which is very important in designing and selection of kitchen in the project. The speaker gave a clear idea about the different units designed in kitchen space as storage, counters, hob, chimney, upper cabinets and lower cabinets. The students learned about different styles and layouts in kitchen and the material specifications. The session went very interesting when speaker interacted with students and clarified many quarries regarding practical knowledge about kitchen storage & etc.

The budget, brand and core material is the main factor for the designer who designs the kitchen was the highlight of the webinar. Students enjoyed learning about the types of finishes in the kitchen cabinets & shutters. The design concept of kitchen layouts and material selection knowledge was very much interesting and also practicality was included. Space planning inside the kitchen layout for storage, preparation, and cooking was explained in detail. The students and faculties from other colleges also attended the webinar and we have received the positive feedback from all of them.
