Webinar on Landscape in Interior Design 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore

Department of Interior Design, ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore organized a webinar on 25th Jan 2021. The Guest Speaker was Ar. Madhumita, Chief Architect of Adya Architects, Chennai. The webinar is about Landscape in Interior Design which is very important when it comes to the functionality of the interior design. The speaker focused on the idea about the different types of landscaping that have been accustomed to designing spaces. She began her session by explaining Spaces and their Characteristics. The students gained knowledge about landscaping in different spaces and the style they should prefer. She discussed landscaping and softscape designing a space.

The interactive session included clarified doubts regarding practical knowledge about types of Plants, colors, textures, and emerging practices in landscapes, etc. The speaker bespeaks about the preference of plants, why it has been selected indoors and outdoors are the main key features of the webinar session. Students enjoyed the session about the clear idea of how the landscaping is being done on-site. The plants and their nature is very well explained and provided additional knowledge to the students.

The students and faculties from other colleges also attended the webinar and we have received positive feedback from all of them.
