Webinar on Being a better UI Designer 2020 @ ICAT, Bangalore

Department of Multimedia, ICAT Design and Media College Bangalore organised a Webinar on “Being a better UI Designer” on 2nd May 2020. The resource person was Mr.Sujit Sinha, Visual Designer at Panorbit.

In the webinar, Mr.Sujit unravelled the why, what and how of the future of UI learning, and discussed the many possibilities that designers can look forward to.

Speaker gave an overview of UI and further explained about user centered design, product design, usability principles, design strategies, prototype tools and how to improve the usability of a Website/ APP design.

The session started with Introduction to UI Design, and then he spoke about all the principles to consider when designing the website or App.

An Important part of the session was about the Challenges that UI Designer confronts and how to overcome those problems. He insisted that students should practice and take part in online challenges so as to enhance their skills.

Second Session was about questions and answers between the speaker and students.

The session helped the students to develop their ideas into designs and their designs into a Website or APP and how to use the design principle in all aspects. They got to understand as to how to analyze their audience / Concept and how to design keeping user experience in mind. The session also helped them to prepare for their Dream Job.
