Webinar on Acknowledge the unknown freedom fighters and their struggles 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore

On January 25th, 2021, on the eve of 72nd Republic Day, ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore organized a function to celebrate. A webinar was organized for the students on the topic ‘Acknowledge the unknown freedom fighters and their struggles. The students were connected via Google meet forum. Miss.Thenmozhi, speaker of the event discussed with the students the importance of the struggle and unsung freedom fighters of India like Begum Hazratmahal, Aurobindo Ghosh, Tiruppur Kumaran, Tara Rani and their contribution to the fight for Indian independence.

The current problems and possible solutions to make India as a developed country were discussed with the young minds of the future leaders. A short documentary about India was also shown to the students. After the session, the students were encouraged to participate in the quiz competition. Finally, the posters made by the students on the topic ‘What does freedom mean to you’ were showcased. The event started at 10.00 am and concluded around 11.30 a.m.
