Visit to Art Gallery 2018 from ICAT, Hyderabad

On 14th of September, 2018, the students of ICAT Design and Media College, Hyderabad visited the State Gallery of Art, Shrishti Art Gallery, Jubilee Hills and DHI Artspace, Ameerpet to enjoy the special artworks put up as part of the Indian Photography Festival conducted for a week at Hyderabad. The students were accompanied by the faculty Mr. Jonmejoy and Mr. Partha Dutta. The team first went to the State Gallery of Art, where works of many renowned photographers were put up.

The students and other audience were amazed with the showcase at the State Gallery of Art. After few hours at the State Gallery of Art, the students proceeded to the next gallery, DHI Art Space, Jubilee Hills. The gallery had showcased mix-media artworks on the theme, ‘Mapping Territories, Hyderabad’. The students had knowledge-filled time with the faculties and the gallery curator, who patiently explained all the artworks to the students. The artworks exhibited the importance of mix-media and how it can be used.
