Industry Visit to Pragathi Printers 2015 from ICAT, Hyderabad

Especially for Level 4 students, who start a fresh journey of the creative education, this kind of practical approach is critical.

In this regard, ICAT – Hyderabad organized a print media industry visit for the L4 students of all disciplines to Pragathi Printers, Hyderabad. The goal of the visit was to provide the students with knowledge on intricate procedures involved in the printing process, such as printing, punch making, punching, creasing, folding, pinning and final finishing. Through this visit, besides excelling in the design process in digital media, the students understood the overall physical production of print media. The students were thrilled to see how cutting-edge technology is being implemented in the process of printing.

Thanks to the management of Pragathi printers, Hyderabad, who gave an exclusive permission for ICAT students to visit their production unit.
