Vinayagar Chaturthi Celebration 2024 @ ICAT, Bangalore

Ganesh Chaturthi holds significant cultural importance in India, and at our institution, we celebrated this revered festival with a deep sense of tradition. On September 11, 2024, the spirit of devotion and creativity filled the air at ICAT Design & Media College as the institution came together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The festivities began at 11:30 am with a Ganesh Pooja held in the parking area. To enhance the festive ambiance, the college entrance was adorned with beautifully crafted Ganesh Mandapam, complemented by vibrant decorations and rangolis.

The college organized a series of engaging events to mark this auspicious occasion.The day commenced with a serene Ganesha Pooja, fostering a sense of spiritual unity among students and staff. After the pooja, Prasadam was distributed to everyone present. Following the traditional rituals, the festivities took a creative turn with various competitions that showcased the artistic flair of the ICAT community.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a clay modeling competition, where participants sculpted intricate Ganesh idols from clay. Another creative event was a hand embroidery competition, where students embroidered depictions of Ganesha, adding a playful and colorful touch to the festivities. Enhancing the festive ambiance, all staff and students were warmly encouraged to wear ethnic attire, creating a visually vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere. The collective participation and enthusiasm of the ICAT community made Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 a memorable and joyous occasion at the college.
