Vinayagar Chaturthi Celebration'20 @ ICAT, Chennai

Vinayagar Chaturthi (Ganesh Chaturthi) is a festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed is said to be the remover of all obstacles. This day is considered auspicious, to bring wisdom, prosperity and good fortune for the upcoming year.

On August 21st, ICAT Chennai, have arranged Vinayakar Chaturthi 2020 virtual celebration for our students. We hosted a competition in the name "Creative Vinayaga" where our students has to make a Ganesha with any material available @home.

Various Ganesha artefacts made by our students, cheered up all of us today along with the Vinayagar Pooja at ICAT!!!

We had Ganesha models using different props & elements like sticks, flour, flowers, grains, scrap materials etc. Top 3 works will be selected and honoured with trophies.
