VFX Industry talk by MR. Dijo Davis 2018 @ ICAT, Bangalore

On 21st September 2018 ICAT VFX, Bangalore has organised an industry talk. It was immense pleasure to have Mr. Dijo Davis, who is Head of learning and development in Technicolor, Bangalore. Seminar was organised with a motive of giving insights of VFX industry to the students.

Seminar started with the showcase of works done by the Technicolor. He spoke about the future of 3D and VFX in cinema. He cited different examples where VFX was widely used in movies. He talked about the scope of VFX in India and about the pipeline they follow in Technicolor. He discussed about the Technicolor academy. He also discussed with students about how to make good showreel and how they can join Technicolor academy. Students attended this seminar with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Talk was followed by the question and answer round where students asked their doubts. Mr. Dijo Davis was excited to see the overwhelming response from ICAT Students. He showed the making of Jumanji and Oscar winning movie jungle book. It was great experience for our students to know more about VFX in present industry.
