Teacher’s Day Celebration 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator's birth anniversary is also celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India every year on 5th September to honor the teachers for their contribution in shaping children – the leaders of tomorrow. Teachers provide the power of knowledge and education and create possibilities for a better future.
The program was hosted by Mr. Sunny and Ms.Vinutha (faculties) and Mr. Hemachandran and Ms.Anwesha, members of the Staff Welfare Committee. The celebration was graced by the presence of Mrs.Hemalatha Doddamani and Mr.David. The program commenced with a Sanskrit Shlok recital by Ms. Vinutha. Then, our Vice-Principal ma’am delivered a speech on the role of teachers and in her address urged the teachers to add value to their pedagogy through experiential learning. Many teachers shared their valuable experiences which will go a long way to guide the new teachers. The speech was followed by the cake cutting and then, the token of love and appreciation was given to the teachers.
All teachers cheered the fun activities that were conducted to make them feel special. After the celebration was over, snacks were served to the teachers. The entire program was applauded by everyone present and will always remain as a beautiful memory in the hearts of one and all present.
