Students of ICAT participated in Mural painting event at Rangashankara Theater Festival from ICAT, Bangalore

October 27,2012 saw two of our students-Shrey Kachhap and Shashidhar participate in a Mural painting event at Rangashankara Theater Festival. A much looked forward to event in Bangalore.

The theme for the festival this year is Shakespeare and six plays have come down from India and abroad. These plays debuted at the Globe to Globe Festival in the UK earlier this year, and have received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

This year a painting has been created by the renowned painter SG Vasudev especially for the festival.

The students from our college painted a mural inspired by the original work of SG Vasudev's painting. The mural was painted collectively by seven students of Bangalore's best-known art colleges, and is displayed in the foyer of Ranga Shankara for the duration of the Fest, and beyond.

The event was attended by the founder director of Rangashankara , actor Ms Arundhati Nag and other theater enthusiasts.
