Mark Rothko, the Abstract Expressionist’s career and art works were thoroughly dwelled and understood, as he is a great inspiration for young creative designers. His most of the best artworks were completely deconstructed and analyzed for critics’ review. A detailed list of concepts or inspiration for the each of his work is recorded for study.

The critical learning thus acquired was applied in gaming ideas. The ups and downs of Mark Rothko’s life were applied to design levels for a game. His paintings were displayed in the game. His predominantly used color schemes were used in level design. His early surrealism paintings of mythic characters and symbols were made into sprites for the game. The final output was a mind-bending game that makes you think.
