Skyline - Animation Founder’s Day Celebration 2020 @ ICAT, Chennai

On 14th, October 2020 the Department of Fashion Design, ICAT, Chennai have celebrated Fashion Day - “Jour de la moda”. The department has conducted an online “Fabric Painting” workshop for ICAT students.

On this day, the students have learnt essential parts of painting tools and different kinds of fabric painting cultures like single stroke, double color shading, fan style, dry brush, color shading etc. This workshop was helpful to understand the color theory and different fabric types & techniques of painting. Also made our students realise how to apply these kinds of techniques in real-time prototyping.

Overall, the students had a great time and opportunity to explore the behind scene works in the world of fabrics.
