Session on Portfolio Development 2019 @ ICAT, Chennai

Mr. Ramesh Acharya, Founder - R ARTS STUDIOS visited ICAT to have a talk about the VFX industry and his working experience. Mr. Ramesh is an artist turned VFX supervisor. Ramesh and his firm are a leading VFX production company in the industry. They created the motion poster for films like Petta & Viswasam. Their works are well received and appreciated by the experts in the industry.

Mr. Ramesh interacted with the students by sharing his priceless working experience with our students. He also discussed working styles of Indian films and Hollywood films, do’s and don’ts related with his work experience. He explained to students about the increasing need for animator, concept artist in the industry.

He motivated students to research and find inspirations from our epic novels. He asked students to concentrate more on portfolio and highlighted the importance of showreel in the industry. He concluded the session with a speech on self-motivation and self-discipline.
