Seminar on VFX Pipeline and Portfolio Development 2019 @ ICAT, Bangalore

VFX Department of ICAT Design & Media College, Bangalore organized an Industry talk- VFX Pipeline by Mr. Sachin on 17th December 2019. It was an immense pleasure to have Mr. Sachin, who is Academic Manager in MPC films and Technicolour Academy, Bangalore. Seminar was organized with a motive of giving insights of VFX Pipeline to the students. Seminar started with the interaction with students about the VFX industry they know, followed by showing the discipline and their roles and responsibilities an artist has to handle. Mr. Sachin showcased the work done by Technicolor artists. He spoke about the future of 3D and VFX in cinema. He cited different examples where VFX was widely used in movies. He discussed with students about how to make good show reel and also discussed about the Technicolor Academy and how they can join Technicolor Academy. Students attended this seminar with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Talk was followed by the question and answer session where students cleared their doubts. Mr. Sachin was excited to see the overwhelming response from ICAT Students. He showed the making of various awards winning movies. It was a great experience for our students to know more about VFX in present industry.
