Seminar on Unity Lighting @ ICAT, Hyderabad

On 20 February, 2016, a seminar on ‘Unity Lighting’ was conducted for the students of 2 & 3 Year Game Design & Game programming students by the industrial expert, Mr. Girish. Who is a Technical Art Lead at Shrutika Entertainment with 6 years of experience in his field, he has also work with projects like Simulation Project for Indian Army & Tawazun project for Dubai Defense and various other games

The seminar was aimed at giving the students an in-depth knowledge on lighting in Unity. The aim was well accomplished with the expertise of Mr. Girish. He explained every type of light in Unity with amazing examples and spectacular explanation about every aspect of Unity. He highlighted the importance of lighting in games and animations, and demonstrated how to use cookies and enhance the environment. He also demonstrated how to make a new sky box and use it according to our requirement. He also explained about the effect of light on different kinds of maps and about the surrounding performance and functionality of lighting.

The seminar was highly informative for all the budding professionals who strive to design the best look and feel for their games; they felt that the information which they received from the workshop was very informative and as they are going to implement the knowledge in correct time.
