Seminar on 'UI/UX' from Industry Professional @ ICAT, Chennai

A seminar on 'UI/UX' was organized for the L4 and PG-UID students of ICAT, Chennai, on 26th to 28th of February, 2016. Mr. Bhoobala Vighnesh, Solution Architect Consultant, Accenture Ind. Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore conducted the seminar. Mr. Bhoobala is a UX & UI Designer, specialized in developing rich user-friendly interactive solutions for Web, mobile and almost anything that is digital.

The seminar was aimed at giving the students a thorough view on real-time UI/UX Design. Mr. Boobala successfully accomplished the aim by elaborating on UI/UX concepts and by threading in his personal industry experience. He covered the following topics in detail:

1. Usability Analysis and Conceptual Design
2. Art of Design
3. User Experience Design
4. Wireframing and Prototyping Real Time Applications
5. Usability Testing

He further dealt with the latest trends in the industry and gave the students an insight to what the industry expects from the budding professionals. The students were also given assignments to aid in further learning.

The three-day knowledge sharing at the seminar is sure to provoke more creative ideas in the students. ICAT is sure to offer more such informative seminars in the future.
