Seminar on The Art of Building Bipedal and Quadruped Rigs 2023 @ ICAT, Chennai

The department of Animation organized a seminar on The art of building Bipedal and Quadruped Rigs on 24th January 2023. Mr. Mohamod Umair, the Unreal cinematics supervisor at holocraft immersive was invited as a speaker for the session. The session began with Mr. Mohamod Umair giving a brief on the animation production pipeline and the role of a rigger plays a significant role in production. He then proceeded to explain about the teamwork and coordination involved in the pipeline process. He also demonstrated how to skin a 3D modeled character by applying weight paint. The session ended with a Q&A and the students getting appropriate feedback on their project from the speaker.
