Seminar on Boutique Management 2023 @ ICAT, Bangalore

ICAT Design & Media College, Department of Fashion and Apparel Design organized a guest lecture by Ms. Sheik Rukhsar - Senior Fashion Consultant and Founder of Raw Designs Boutique, on "Boutique Management" on 28th July 2023. The lecture provided knowledge for the students to enhance their art-related skills, explore their creativity and push boundaries. Students learnt the significant importance of boutique for various reasons like customer experience, product curation, brand image & differentiation, inventory management, marketing & promotion, finance and staff management etc. They learnt how running a boutique successfully requires a combination of business skills, creativity, and customer-oriented strategies. Boutique management is vital for creating a successful and sustainable business in the competitive retail industry. Overall the students had an interactive session with the speaker and thoroughly enjoyed the guest lecture.
