Seminar on Making of Tamil movie - Pizza 2012 @ ICAT, Chennai

An interactive seminar on ‘Making of Tamil movie - PIZZA’ by Mr. Karthik Subbaraj, Film Director was organized by ICAT on 30th November, 2012 at the Chennai campus.

Mr. Karthik Subbaraj after making numerous short-films that received wide appreciation on the internet tried his hand at making one for a bigger screen and a wider audience with his first venture Pizza. He has created an impression by employing a simple story telling technique of subversion so effectively to produce a gripping story in this film.

He presented an overview of 'Pizza' movie making process, outlined the technical aspects of film making and also stressed the importance of pre production and cinematography. Students from various disciplines interacted with series of questions and made the session very informative and interesting.

This seminar made a great place for sharing experience from a young director like Mr. Karthik Subbaraj and his sort of progressive filmmaking will come as a welcome addition to the industry as well as the audience.
