Pongal Celebration 2023 @ ICAT, Bangalore

ICAT Design and Media College celebrated Pongal with much vigour and enthusiasm on 12th january 2023 in the college campus. All the staff members and students attired in the traditional clothing of mundu, shirt, saree, salwar and so on. Events started at 11 in the morning with a Pongal puja and a traditional dance which was followed by the ritual of boiling harvested rice with milk and jaggery in a clay pot. Pongal making and kite making were the key events that added up to the liveliness of the celebration. Staff cultural committee also organised a ramp walk and several fun filled games like tyre race, pot breaking , lagori for the students.
