Placement Orientation Program for Visual Effects, Animation and Game students 2013 @ All ICAT Campus

The Placement cell of ICAT Design & Media College conducted placement Orientation program in Hyderabad , Bangalore, & Chennai campus on 1st, 2nd & 22nd February 2013 to mould both UG & PG Visual Effects, Animation and Game students to meet the industry expectation and place them in reputed studios across the country.

Few of the industry leads like Mr. Rajat Ojha ( CEO ) of TAGS, Mr. Thilak ( CEO ) of Trajots VFX, Mr. Karthikeyan( VFX Lead ) from Pixion, Mr. Praveen( 3d, VFX Lead ) from Rhythm & Hues, Mr. Prashanth ( VFX Lead ) from Bot VFX, Mr. Jagadeesh ( HR ) from Dhruva Interactive, studio shared and encouraged our students to concentrate on the core skills of Visual Effects, Animation and Gaming with ambitious aim and knowledge. They also emphasized on the increase in specialization with new roles and functions developing all the time and the mandatory skills & knowledge every students should be armed with.

Also they outlined the different roles within VFX, Game and Animation industry and also about the extra layer of guidance in specialization and work culture and also soft skills, revolving around teamwork and communication. The more they gave answers the more students realized the framework for a good show reel / Portfolio.

Overall the session provided a perfect space for students and industry expertise to interact and communicate their query and commitment.
