Photography Year Book - 2015 @ ICAT, Chennai

To celebrate ICAT Founder’s day & World Photography Day 19th August 2015, Department of Photography along with the ICAT Photography Club launched the publication of their Photography Year Book at ICAT Design & Media College. The Yearbook was launched by our Chief Guest Mr. B. Sridhar, General Secretary, Tamilnadu Video & Photography Association received from Mr. Prateek Singhi, Fashion Photographer. The book gives a detailed and meaningful insight of students' passion towards photography made during workshops, study tour and photo walks organized by the college. During his speak Mr. Sridhar was sharing the timeline of photographic technology and the importance of undertaking professional photography degree in a college to adapt to new technological growth. He also emphasized on the wedding industry, how clients are attracted toward the younger generation than senior artist. Mr. Prateek Singhi speech on the importance of incorporating art, design, research and craftsmanship in photography will convey the young talents beyond clients expectations. The session concluded with the student's registration in photography club irrespective of departments.
