Photography Students Tour to the State of Ancient Forts and Desert Dunes 2016 from ICAT
A Photography tour to Rajasthan, a state full of ancient forts, enthusiastic culture and uneven desert dunes was organized by the ICAT Design & Media College for the UG Photography students. During the ten-day trip (11 to 22 December, 2016), the students enjoyed photographing the architectures of Udaipur and the street portraits of Jaipur. The students had an exciting experience taking this opportunity to explore the culture of Rajasthan.
Down with capturing the splendor architectures of Udaipur, the students interacted with people on streets to capture their portraits. Walking in Sherif Dargah at Ajmer and viewing the lake of Pushkar was mesmerizing and it yielded the best shots to the students.
The students had their best learning about preparing for Street, Travel and Landscape photography. They learnt how to interact with people to get the best portrait shots and got hands-on experience at Sam Sand Dunes in Jaisalmer.
Overall, it was a great experience for the Photography students to see the Pink City through their lens. It was a complete respite from their routine and was a great learning for their future career.
