Photography Exhibition 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore

The Department of Photography, ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore organized a Photography Exhibition and a web-based contest named “Drishtikone 2021” on 30th September 2021. The aim of this event is to make the students showcase their skills, talents and get the learning experience.

The event started with the exhibition where the Photography students from all the three years exhibited their works on the display board and each student had a particular number attached to their pictures. The reason behind putting numbers is that the visitors can give the feedback based on their pictures. All the faculties and students from other departments were invited to see the work and give their reviews to students.

Alongside this, a web-based photography contest was organized for students of all the Departments of ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore. The theme for this challenge was Monochrome. All the students participated in the competition and showed their photography skills.

Both the Photo Exhibition and competition for the students was a big success as they got reviews and valuable feedback from different minds which made them understand about different perspectives. The event acted as a light-house for the students as it showed them a direction and gave them the motivation to produce more creative works. Overall it was a good learning experience for students.
