Level Up - Game Jam 2023 @ ICAT, Bangalore

ICAT Design and Media college conducted Gamers’ week from 7th feb 2023 to 8th feb 2023.

Game JAM marked the beginning of Gamers’ Week that lasted for 48 hours.Students from the departments of Game Design and Game Art enthusiastically took part in this, where different and interesting games were developed in the given time which brought forth their creativity, innovation and imagination. Students were given this intriguing opportunity to make them understand and experience how games are being created. The end results were then displayed on the third day.

The next day was the Orientation programme by a digital skill games company Games 24*7 where around 10 delegates talked about their area of expertise. They also checked students' portfolios as per specialization - 2D Art, 3D Art, game designer and technical artist. They chose the winners and runners up from Game Jam.

The final days of 'LEVEL UP', the Gamers’ Week were filled with different game tournaments like Valorant, FIFA 2022, Mortal kombat and NFs Most Wanted. Students also showcased their works as per their specialization which gained much appreciation and admiration from Head of the institution, principal and others. Gamers’ Week ended with prize distribution awarding the best and winners of the tournaments.
