Kalpavriksha’22 @ ICAT, Chennai

ICAT Design and Media College, Chennai celebrated International Women’s Day titled “Kalpavriksha’22”. Forenoon, we conducted a painting competition with the theme "BREAKING STEREOTYPES". Among the participants, the winner was awarded with a cash prize. The Chief guests of the evening were Mrs. Swetha, Television Actress and Mrs. Revathypriya, Television Actress & News Reader. The event was started with Lighting the Lamp by the members of the dias and an inaugural dance performance by the students. We also had singing and dancing performances in different genres like western, classical and fusion. The highlight of the day was the Ramp walk by our students and staff. The Fashion show titles like,

• Best Walk - Ms.Prema
• Best Outfit - Ms.S.K.Afraah Fathima.
• Runners up - Ms.dharini

were presented with trophies and prizes. Ms.Kalpavriksha’22 was awarded to Ms. Prapanja from PGD-UI Design & Development. We closed the day with a DJ party and feast to all our staff & students. It was a delightful day with great festivity for all the Women.
