International Women's Day Celebration 2023 @ ICAT, Bangalore

ICAT Design and Media College celebrated International Women's Day on 8th March 2023 in the college auditorium, which was appealingly decorated by the male staff members. The goal and aim of this celebration was to raise and increase the understanding about the role and status of women in the current society, to appreciate the achievements, leadership and contribution of women in different sects, and to accelerate equality. Celebrations began around 4 p.m which was completely organised and executed by the male staff members. The event began with short speech notes by the head of the campus- Mr.David, our principal- Dr. G.V Narayana Swamy and vice principal- Mr. Sathish. Several fun filled competitions were conducted for the female staff members. Every female staff member was revered for their contribution by offering them a rose, chocolate box and wishing card along with a photo frame. A beautiful cake was cut. Snacks and soft drinks were also served at the end of the event.
