International Animation Day Celebration 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore

It was an event to celebrate the art of Animation, a legacy that has been handed over by generations by artists, worldwide. ICAT Design & Media College, Bangalore celebrated Animation Day on 17th November, 2021.

A plethora of events were conducted during the celebration, namely; cosplay, Comic Strip, Cartoon Dubsmash, Rapid Sketch, Face painting & Guess the object. The students participated enthusiastically in all the events with enthusiasm and being energetic. We should specially mention the other events like selfie corners, instant mood lifters which saw huge rush. The Tug of War event between the men and women team was the most exciting event of the day that was cheered and enjoyed by everyone present. The students of the Animation department, who conducted the events, had a great time interacting with the participants and watching them explore their creativity.

After the contest's completion, prizes were distributed to the winners. Through an event like an Animation day, students get the chance to show leadership, teamwork and communication skills as they interact among the students and faculty of the entire college and face new challenges, truly a versatile experience for everyone. A special thanks to students who made this event a celebration.
