Industrial Visit to Green Gold Animation 2018 from ICAT, Hyderabad

The Second and Third year students of PG Animation visited Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad on 14 September, 2018. The Green Gold Animation (producers of Chotta Bheem) is a pioneer in creating original Indian animation content for all leading kids’ TV channels like Cartoon Network, Pogo, Discovery Kids, Hungama and Disney. The visit was organized to educate the students on the Animation industry and how to prepare themselves to face the industry challenges once their education is completed. At Green Gold Animation, the students had a studio tour, sessions on Animation film production pipeline and QA sessions.

Mr. Anubhav Khanna, Production Manager of Green Gold Animation, explained about the various tasks in the production pipeline of animation films and series production. Mr. Berry, who is 40 years experienced in working for movies like Shrek, Incredible Franchise etc shared his experience. He gave a glimpse of his own method of visualizing and imagining, as well as his problem-solving techniques. He explained about the complete animation pipeline by showing the making of ‘Jack-Jack Attack’ Short Film. After this session, students interacted with the Production Manager, particularly about Character Designing and Rigging works.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the place, and the knowledge and experience it gave. It was an opportunity for all to get a good industry exposure.
