Industrial Visit Chandigarh and Rishikesh 2024 from ICAT, Chennai

The IDS students from our college recently embarked (14th December) on an insightful industrial visit to Chandigarh and Rishikesh, focusing on interior design and planning of spaces. In Chandigarh, they explored the Le Corbusier Centre, gaining valuable insights into the iconic architect's design principles and vision.

Additionally, a visit to the Capital Complex provided a firsthand understanding of spatial planning on a grand scale. In Rishikesh, the students visited the Beatles Ashram, examining the integration of natural elements in architecture. The experience has enriched their understanding of diverse design approaches, fostering a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of interior design and spatial planning.
