Halloween Celebration 2022 @ ICAT, Bangalore
ICAT Design and Media College celebrated Halloween, the spookiest festival, in campus on 7th November 2022. Every space and corner of the college was decorated for the celebration using pumpkins, spider webs, jack-o'-lantern scarecrow which was made using old clothing, straw, and goofy hats. ICAT Art and Design committee played an indispensable part in creating a spooky environment. Students turned the campus into a frightening setting by donning creative costumes and makeup. They along with a few faculty members decked up in ghostly attires which included the characters like Joker, nun, cat woman, and many other evil characters. Many students dressed up as figures in white cloth with shades and a bunch of others did the creepiest Halloween makeup and face painting. ICAT cultural committee designed a Halloween day itinerary to engage students allowing them to showcase their talents. This included several stalls opened up for everyone by students like face painting, hair braiding stalls, pastry stalls, and photography stalls. Nail art competition was also conducted for students. Scary house was the focal point which was a spine-chilling experience with its haunting music, gloomy lighting, pumpkin lamps, spooky cutouts, and hanging demons which all contributed to the creepy ambiance that prevailed. Later many fun games like musical pumpkin, paper dance, balloon tap were played. The event concluded with a Halloween ramp walk selecting Mr. Halloween and Miss Halloween of ICAT.
