Game Showcase at Gaspar School Foundation 2019 from ICAT, Bangalore

Children play without fear and playing comes to them naturally. Learning and participation in sporting activity helps them learn to solve problems and to be part of a team. Through games and sports, children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, learn teamwork and gain the self-confidence required to take part in new experiences and environment.

In accordance with leading energizing activities, ICAT Design and Image College,Bangalore conducted a Game Showcase on 8th November, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3.30 PM. Students of  UG Interactive Media (Game Design Development) and  MSC Game Technology  displayed their 3 life-size and 32 Board Games at Gaspar School, Bangalore, as part of their “Professional Context Technology & Communication Methods” module to the students of class 4 to 10.

Our students got very positive response from the school students, which would enable them enhance their game skills. School students took part in the games with enthusiasm and were longing to play even more. The winners of games were rewarded as a token of appreciation which added to their happiness.

The school management was appreciative of our students’ work and showed their enthusiasm to exhibit the games again in their school premises. Our students got the experience of being with the target audience and straightforwardly assessing their games, analyzed and comprehended how to draw their target audience.
