Field Trip to Salar Jung Museum 2018 from ICAT, Hyderabad

The first year students of the Game Art and Design discipline had a field trip to Salar Jung Museum to study weapon and armor design inspirations, museum houses guns, rifles, swords, daggers and armors that have been used in the Nizam time.

Further, they observed various currency designs and storage chests, cutlery and other day-to-day articles used, to understand and visualize the evolution of art and design through the times and how those can be designed inspirations can be used in modern game designing.
