Faculties attended Fashion Forecast Seminar 2020 from ICAT, Bangalore

Faculties from Department of Fashion design ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore attended Fashion Forecast Seminar. Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) had invited the guest speaker Ms. Kim Mannino, Head of WGSN Live, London and Ms. Charlie Clark, Trend Specialist from a renowned trend forecasting company WGSN, UK to conduct Fashion Forecast seminars for Spring/Summer 2021 & Autumn/Winter 2021-2022 and seasons beyond.

The Seminar covered Fashion Forecast for Spring/Summer 2021 and Autumn/Winter 2021-2022. The presentation by the speaker covered Men’s & Women’s Wear Fashion forecast that included the direction for color, silhouette, materials and graphic prints for men’s and women’s.

The content had a strong product focus, utilizing reports such as men’s and women’s design development, denim trends, knitwear trends, kids wear and accessories.

This seminar was very useful in the means of making early concepts for color, material and style, Commercial collections for key retail drops, buyer’s guides back up and validated data with royalty-free prints, graphics and CAD designs and also in -depth knowledge of the international commercial market and a strong understanding of how big ideas can shape the future.
