ICAT Design & Media College is hosting its inter-collegiate cultural fest MIRAKI 2024 on 23rd October 2024. The festival comprises of various events like dance, music and other cultural activities.
MIRAKI '2024 is a talent revealing opportunity for the students who want to pursue their future in these creative fields.

Description: “A group of musicians who play different instruments and collaborate to create and perform music together. They can have a unique style and perform live or record albums to share their music with audiences”.
Rules & Regulations:
- Team Composition: Each participating team should consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 members.
- Time Duration: Teams will have a total of 12 minutes for their performance, including setup. Of this, 9 minutes are allocated for the actual performance, and 3 minutes are allowed for setting up equipment. *timing will be changed depending on the number of teams participating*
- Content Guidelines: Performances should not include vulgar or offensive content in any form.
- Pre-Recorded Materials: The use of pre-recorded materials or playback tracks is strictly prohibited. All music must be performed live.
- Instrumentation: (A standard 5-piece drum kit will be provided) All musical instruments, including guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, etc., must be brought by the participants. At least one instrument is mandatory for each team.
- Music Genre: Performances should fall within the genres of Indian classical, folk, non serious Pop cinema songs.
- Language: Songs performed can be in any Indian regional language or English.
- Original Songs will be an added bonus. (Should be mentioned)
These rules ensure a fair and enjoyable Light Music Event where creativity and live musical talent are celebrated.

Rules & Regulations:
- Group of 8 - 12 members can participate.
- The costumes should strictly abide by the theme.
- Track should be submitted in advance in MP3 format and it shouldn't exceed 8 -10 minutes.
- Vulgarity is strictly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to disqualification.
- Teams will be judged on costumes, walking stance and attitude.
- DIY costumes are encouraged. Rented costumes will not be allowed.
- Props that litter or flammable should not be used.
- Maximum 1 team per college is encouraged (based on first come first serve basis).
- Performance exceeding the duration or non-conformance to the aforementioned theme will lead to negative marking.

Theme/Topic: “Beyond Boundaries” - Create a comic strip based on your own story or concept inspired by the theme. This could explore themes such as cultural, gender, economic, dimensional, or physical boundaries, among others.

- The Participants should create a minimum of 5 Panel Comic strip based on the given Topic/Theme
- A3 Drawing Sheet will be Provided to make the Comic Strip
- The participant should bring any necessary art supplies.
- Only solo participants are encouraged.
- Online registration is preferred. On-the-spot registration is subject to slot availability.
- Entry will be valid only after confirmation of registration
- Existing works may serve as sources of inspiration, style, and color, but the work should not be a recreation of an existing one.
- All artwork should be done on the spot.
- Any form of vulgarity in the comic strip will result in the participant being immediately disqualified.

Rules & Regulations:
- Participants must submit their film using the upload link provided to the team leader. The link to upload the files will be sent as soon as the challenge begins.
- The finished film must be a minimum of 4 minutes in duration, and a maximum of 6 minutes- not including end credits.
- Film submissions should be done before 20th October ‘24, 10:00 pm (Sunday).
- Films can be in any language of your comfort. All films must have English subtitles.
- Participants can use any camera (from mobile camera to professional camera).
- Teams cannot use stock footage. Photographs can be used in a film, only if they have permission.
- The judge’s decision will be final.
- Entrants should upload their film in the shared link in .mov or .mp4 format with 1920 X 1080 px, and a maximum of 2GB in size.
- The folder name should be the same as the name of the short film.
- The folder should consists of the short film in the aforementioned format and a seperate PDF file containing the details of the Film Title, Synopsis, Director Name, College Name, Department and Year of Study should be included in the folder.
- 3 Snapshots and 3 Working stills of the short film should be present in the Shared folder.

- Submissions must be in digital format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF).
- Artwork must be created by the participant and not previously published or submitted to other competitions.
- Participants are strictly prohibited from using AI tools or software for the creation of their caricatures.
