GANESHA CHATHURTHI
Ganesha Chaturthi As Ganesha Chathurthi is celebrated on 2nd September our College decided to celebrate it on 30th September by arranging a 'Creative Ganesha' Competition. People had to form teams and create an idol of Lord Ganesha Many people participated from various departments as teams and expressed their creativity through this event. It was surprising to see how random materials can be used to make something so stunning and beautiful. Various materials were used by these teams like Bamboo sticks, wires, Thread, nails, and even some of the idols were made out of scrap material. Looking at these creations the thought of responsible ways to recycle the things around us certainly passes through. The college invited Mr. Srinivasan who is the Sculpting Department HOD from the Fine Arts College to be the judge of this competition. Mr. Srinivasan went to each team and had a discussion with them about their creation. It was a wonderful opportunity for people to show off their creative talents to their friends and teachers. Hope there are more competitions like these in the future to showcase the creativity of the students of this college.
