GANESHA CHATHURTHI Every year ICAT design and Media College conduct a competition “creative Ganesha” just before Ganesha chaturthi, where every student can participate from any department or year. The main aim of the competition is to create lord Ganesha in a creative and thoughtful manner. The competition started at 2pm, approximately more than 30 teams participated in the competition where each team consisted of at least 4 members. In the competition, different teams used different strategies and thoughts to create lord Ganesha. The whole house of competition was filled with enthusiasm. The time limit was till 4:30pm. After the competition ended, one member from each team stayed near their work to explain their thoughts and strategies to create lord Ganesha to our respected judge Mr.Srinivasan, the HOD of the Sculpting Department of Fine Arts College. After the judgment we expressed our gratitude to Mr. Srinivasan for being able to judge the competition. Creative Ganesha competition has always been a method to encourage the students to work in teams and boost their creative mind and team management skills.
