Bring the Virtual World Closer to Your Gamer
It prepares students to independently work through the entire pipeline of game development, starting from conceiving concepts and scripting the Programme to creating a playable game. The Programme focuses on Game Design and Game Development, widening the opportunities for the students. It provides an all-round knowledge from game design principles, creating computer graphics, database management and using game engines to Programming games for various platforms. The intense practice offered by the programme helps students in seeking a vast career, be it as a Level Designer, Plug-in or Tool Developer, or Game Developer.
This 4-year specialist skill-building at ICAT is conducted through various proven modes of learning, including classroom training, guided practice sessions, industry visits, seminars/workshops from professionals, showcase of work to industry professionals to seek feedback and individual / collaborative projects that give par real-time experience. To confidently step into the world of Gaming, the module insists students to create a portfolio of their works that showcase their specialist knowledge and skills gained through the module.
